He's a radio host, a gamer, a YouTube star, and a stand-up comedian. Meet our jack of all trades, Mohannad!

Mohannad grew up in Cairo, though he did have to go back and forth to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for a while every summer and during Christmas vacation to visit his Dad, who worked in these locations. He also had a brief stint of two years in Saudi, back when he was in middle school.

When he's not in the NileFM studios presenting After-drive, you can catch him doing stand up, playing on his Xbox One, hanging out with his friends and watching A TON of Youtube videos. He’s a Leo, but he doesn’t buy into any of the horoscope stuff. Not one bit.

Fun fact: Mohannad's actually an Engineering Graduate. Yep, he’s supposed to be a Materials Engineer right now.

Mohannad, what advice would you give your 15 year old self?

Never EVER conform, they will always tell you you can't do it, YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO. DARE TO ACHIEVE, DARE TO BE DIFFERENT. Oh yea, and don’t tell that one girl that one thing that would make her flip out and break up with you, because otherwise you'll be miserable for a while.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

When you're constantly out of your comfort zone, everything is an adventure that feels so rewarding. When you actually get around to making things happen amidst you feeling very outside of your safe space. I also once went running in the middle of a snowstorm once. It was the only time I ever lost feeling to all my extremities. Scary times.

If you were to spend your lifetime advocating a cause, what would it be?

I am a person that's been through a lot, mentally at least. So I know the value of someone making me smile at the end of the day, making this day better even if it were for seconds. So these last couple of years, my life's sole cause is shaping up to be to make people's days a tad easier. I live for it and will continue to do it for as long as I can.

What is your worst habit?

I'd say smoking and procrastination, in that order. Both'll kill me, actually working on the latter more.

Do you speak any other languages?

I am pretty sure if a French or a German speaking person spoke to me I would get an idea of what they want to communicate, but then I would as always answer them in English :D. I studied French until my last year in high school, and took German courses while in Uni, because I traveled to Germany for an Internship. SPOILER: Didn’t speak a word of German there.

What are three things you cannot live without?

My headset, my Music and my Credit Card.

What superpower do you wish your pet had?

I have a tortoise called Pickles. I wish Pickles could play anything. ANYTHING, All she does is consume lettuce and cucumber and sleep.

What is the most embarrassing Halloween outfit you’ve ever worn?

Never been into Halloween, although I once did the show in a traditional African Dashiki. For what its worth it did conjure up some laughs which is always "Just what the doctor ordered."

Favorite musician of all time?

Musician is probably Elena Tonra, the lead vocalist for "Daughter". Favorite band is hands down "Poets of the Fall"

Favorite TV show of all time?

So no one told you that it was gonna be this wayyy…..

If you could only play three video games for the rest of your life, which ones would they be?

Kingdom hearts 2, Metal gear solid 3: Snake eater, Witcher 3.

Who’s your favorite villain?

Cliché Answer, but he's the GOAT, Heath Ledger's joker.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Flight. I wanna fly. All my lucid dreams turn into me flying.

Do you think Batman carries snacks with him?

Nope, pretty sure he has nutrients injected through his suit, doesn’t look like the type of guy that likes to have fun if you ask me, unless beating perps to a pulp without killing them is considered fun.

If you were to host the next comic book convention, who would you want to be your co-host?

Probably Robert Downey Jr. OR Toby Mcguire, or the man himself: Stan Lee.

Do you have a favorite anime?

Death Note. Only one I have watched all the way through. T'was an extraordinary experience to say the least, loved every second of it.
