More often than not, it is easy for a girl to join the workforce and find her place; amidst these wars of power, territory, and control.
But what lingers long and is a whole lot harder to develop and maintain within a certain accepted limit, is the male-female dominance game &ndash; yes, &ldquo;baby girl&rdquo; you are part of a testosterone-ous war.
Male colleagues at work will always find a way to &ldquo;engulf&rdquo; you, and I will show you how each must be handled:&nbsp;

Definition: Those men who believe that God has not just added to their muscle power and growth potential, but has as well blessed them with extra cortex surface. For some reason, they suppose that a female creature is automatically inferior in intelligence, problem solution thinking and cannot simply keep up with their speedy mind.[article id=2910]&nbsp;
Solution: Watch. Observe him and smile whenever he re-explains basics to you. Find what he considers his edge, his strong points. Wait for a meeting or a public gathering, lure him in on a topic of his favorite ones, let him rise and BAM slam him right down on his face. Explain stuff to him, he tries to hit back, take him farther. Show him who has the upper hand. All that with a large, smirk on your face.
It works, every single time!

Definition: There is almost always the guy who is known for being attractive, good at what he does and flirty with all the girls. And the stories are close to reality, he is confident, hot, charismatic and charming. Not because you are special that he will smile at you, create an intimate incident, brush his hand against yours by chance, or even call you by a nickname; he will do it just because you are a new challenge.
Solution: Nice! Very nice indeed! Enjoy the game of looks, chase and smiles!
Just do not give in, do not let him claim authority and dominance.
Play back. Play him at his own game.
You see, it is annoying how they just dismiss that we too love to chase, flirt, tiptoe and linger the game. Hence play, at your own pace, with your own rules!
Or do not play at all! Do things the way you want! Never feel forced or worst entrapped!

Definition: Men who believe that girls are helpless and constantly need help. Men who suppose that answering for you, taking a job for you and going to meetings for you is some sort of twisted chivalry. He even constantly tries to advise of what to say, whom to speak to, how to sit, what to expect and how you ought to react.[article id=2992]Solution: Simple! Just talk to them about how much you are capable of doing this job and that you seriously aren&rsquo;t a fragile &ldquo;cute&rdquo; flower. You have thorns, sister! Preaching is fun until it is overdone and repulsive. If you speak once, twice and thrice and they are still the same preachy priests from their high castles; put your A-Game of poker face and implicit dismissal.

Definition: The worst of them all! The most complex, deteriorated, insecure and damaged human being of them all. This man assumes that equality means to challenge and compete. Hence, you will find him annoyingly and incessantly trying to push the &ldquo;decency&rdquo; limit with you under the umbrella of &ldquo;equals&rdquo;.
Solution: Lead them to screw up at their job. Make your work better, smarter and stronger so whenever he pulls out this distorted definition of equality, you show him that you are better at almost everything. Then, teach them manners with your decent, exemplary behavior: if you are a woman with a big mouth, use it a lot with him! It will freaking shake his core. You see, they underestimate our power in hitting back. But if you are a woman of no-cursing, be very clear that respectable conduct is a must and remind him of it. Take it to the management if necessary; it does not make you weak to use the rules; it makes you smart!
Bottom line, men will try to dominate &ndash; in the laws of work, attraction, social interaction and even in feminism. They insert themselves forcefully in the equation and make it all about them.
Just dismiss and disarm this intuitive need to dominate and show them that things are better shared, rather than being passed on.
