<p>On today's <a href="http://www.nilefm.com/show/6/the-morning-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Morning Show</a>, <a href="http://www.nilefm.com/presenter/22/mark-somers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mark</a> and <a href="http://www.nilefm.com/presenter/24/sallysampson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sally</a> were joined by Dina Hassan from The Doodle Factory, who talked all about the brand's mission and work.</p>
<p>The Doodle Factory is an Egyptian brand that aims to meet children's medical, education and shelter needs by using their drawings to design a wide range of products.</p>
<p>The process begins by gathering a group of children in an art session where they draw whatever they like.</p>
<p>The Factory then takes those drawings and designs bags, laptop cases, makeup cases and travel essentials with patterns of the drawings. Proceeds go to fund whatever the children need, whether it's a medical operation or school funding.</p>

<p>"It started with a six-year-old child who needed an implant in the ear. In two months, the girl was able to get the operation done," said Hassan.</p>
<p>While some children are too young to fully comprehend the process, Hassan noticed something among kids of all ages &mdash; they're heavily affected by their surroundings.</p>
<p>When they worked with children from a village, most of the drawings had palm trees and bodies of water in them. On the other hand, when they worked with Syrian refugees, the drawings had plenty of red and many drew patterns inspired by the Syrian flag.</p>

<p>This Saturday, The Doodle Factory is launching their new collection "Sun Rays" in Maadi, the proceeds of which will fund the children's tuition fees.</p>
<p>The event, which is open to anyone interested, will allow people to not only see the products, but also the complete process.</p>
